About The Position

WECTEC Staffing Services, a subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is seeking a Civil Construction Supervisor III for a greenfield power generation project in Seminole, TX. This role involves overseeing the installation of five simple-cycle combustion turbines, requiring comprehensive civil construction including clearing and grading, roads, drainage, foundations, underground utilities, and concrete structures. The supervisor will ensure compliance with contractual and design requirements by overseeing and inspecting all civil activities performed by the EPC contractor.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of civil construction oversight experience
• Experience in power plants, industrial facilities, or large infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with surveying, concrete placement, and earthwork inspections
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience with ArcGIS, Survey123, or Procore preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil construction activities, including earthwork, concrete foundations, roads, drainage, and underground utilities
• Review and verify survey layouts, elevations, and as-built conditions
• Perform quality inspections using ArcGIS / Survey123
• Ensure work complies with civil drawings, specifications, and geotechnical requirements
• Document inspection results and deficiencies in Xcel Energy systems
• Participate in daily POD meetings and coordination efforts
• Maintain safety and quality standards across active civil work zones
• Support schedule coordination and milestone readiness
