About The Position

This role supports a greenfield power generation project in Seminole, TX, which involves the installation of five simple-cycle combustion turbines. The greenfield site requires extensive civil construction work, including clearing and grading, roads, drainage systems, foundations, underground utilities, and concrete structures to support the combustion turbine systems. The Civil Construction Supervisor III will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting all civil activities carried out by the EPC contractor, ensuring that the work adheres to contractual and design specifications.

Requirements

7–10 years of civil construction oversight experience
Experience in power plants, industrial facilities, or large infrastructure projects
Familiarity with surveying, concrete placement, and earthwork inspections
Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

1+ years of experience with ArcGIS, Survey123, or Procore preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee civil construction activities, including earthwork, concrete foundations, roads, drainage, and underground utilities
Review and verify survey layouts, elevations, and as‑built conditions
Perform quality inspections using ArcGIS / Survey123
Ensure work complies with civil drawings, specifications, and geotechnical requirements
Document inspection results and deficiencies in Xcel Energy systems
Participate in daily POD meetings and coordination efforts
Maintain safety and quality standards across active civil work zones
Support schedule coordination and milestone readiness
