About The Position
Atlys is seeking a City Scout to contribute to building a reliable database of work-friendly cafes across the USA. The role involves visiting cafes, verifying information such as WiFi quality, internet speed, and overall work-friendliness, and submitting accurate data to power a new Atlys product. This position directly impacts the travel experience for numerous users.
Requirements
- College student or have a flexible part-time schedule.
- Enjoy exploring your city and discovering new places.
- Strong attention to detail and collect information accurately.
- Comfortable travelling independently within your city.
- Own a smartphone.
- Reliable, proactive and self-driven.
Responsibilities
- Visit assigned cafes across your city and experience them as a customer.
- Identify places that travellers would genuinely enjoy working from.
- Verify key details including WiFi availability, internet speed, passwords, plug points, seating, ambience, and overall work-friendliness.
- Capture observations by completing a short digital survey after every visit.
- Plan visits across assigned neighbourhood clusters to maximize coverage while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Pay close attention to detail, validate every submission, and ensure the information travellers see on the Atlys app can be trusted.
