Circulation Assistant, SC1CIRCULLRC (FA26)
About The Position
This is a student job assisting in the Circulation area of the Library. Duties include delivering and picking up audiovisual equipment, shelving books and media, and cleaning and performing limited inventory of AV equipment. The position requires enrollment in at least 6 credit hours during Fall/Spring or 1 credit hour during Summer, and a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above; the GPA requirement is waived for first-semester students. Students who qualify for Federal Work Study will be hired as Federal Work Study employees to utilize those funds. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. A background check is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours during Fall/Spring or 1 credit hour during Summer.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above; the GPA requirement is waived for first-semester students.
- Excellent English communication skills, including the ability to read well.
- Ability to push a heavy equipment cart and book truck.
- Background check required.
- COD Training.
- Compliance Training.
