Church Nursery Child Care Provider
About The Position
Churches across the New York City metropolitan area seek child care providers to work in nurseries or Children's Ministry during services, group meetings, special events, and other activities through the SitterTree app. Jobs are primarily available Sunday mornings, with additional opportunities on Saturdays and weekdays. Providers choose when and where they work, with no minimum weekly hours. The posting also offers access to babysitting and nannying jobs with families. Most jobs pay $20–$25 or more per hour, and payment is made within 24 hours after each job. Applicants create a SitterTree profile, view nearby jobs, and must pass a background check to apply and get booked.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check.
- Previous child care experience as a babysitter, nanny, church nursery worker, daycare worker, preschool worker, or early learning center teacher, or similar.
- Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including diaper changing, naptimes, and bottle feeding.
- Strong understanding of child development.
- Patient, kind, and nurturing.
- First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric certification.
