Church Nursery Child Care Provider
About The Position
Churches across the Tampa, Florida metro area are seeking child care providers to care for children in nurseries or Children's Ministry during service times, group meetings, special events, and other occasions through the SitterTree app. Jobs are primarily available Sunday mornings, with additional opportunities on Saturdays and weekdays. The role offers flexible scheduling: providers choose when and where they work, with no minimum weekly hours. Pay is $20–$25+ per hour, and payment is issued within 24 hours after each job. Providers may also access babysitting and nannying jobs with families through the app. Applicants create a profile, view available jobs, and must pass a background check to apply and get booked.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check.
- Previous child care experience as a babysitter, nanny, church nursery worker, daycare, preschool, or early learning center teacher, or similar.
- Experience with infant and toddler care, including diaper changing, naptimes, and bottle feeding.
- Strong understanding of child development.
- Patient, kind, and nurturing.
- First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric certification.
