About The Position
The Choir Director is responsible for providing a quality music program and to accompany the Sunday Masses and weekly Christian Worship service in the De La Salle Chapel.
Requirements
- Degree in Music education, choral conducting, or performance
- Experience with Catholic liturgics
- Performance level keyboard skills
- Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University
Nice To Haves
- Masters degree
- 3-5+ years of leading music in a liturgical and/or educational setting
- Proficiency in voice, piano, organ and conducting
- Strong music reading skills including sight-reading, transposition, rearrangement, & SATB choral writing, and improvisation
