About The Position

Redlands Christian School ACA is seeking a part-time Choir Piano Accompanist. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, reliable transportation, and the ability to read open score music and improvise. Proficiency in multiple genres including pop, Broadway, classical, and folk is required. The accompanist will also be expected to co-teach the class. This role models a servant's heart and promotes an attitude of respect, teamwork, and professionalism by supporting the entire school system, praying for colleagues, encouraging Godly living and excellence, and holding others accountable.

Requirements

Profess a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
Maintain a positive Christian testimony
Involved in a local church of like faith and practice, consistent with the RCS Statement of Faith
Agree with and adhere to the employee handbook
Strong communication skills both oral and written
Ability to meet people comfortably and engage in substantive conversation
Must be able to work diligently and independently and make judgments with minimal supervision
Ability to handle financial matters with integrity and with concern for confidentiality
Ability to use technology
Flexible schedule
Reliable transportation
Ability to read open score music
Ability to improvise
Ability to play in multiple genres including but not limited to pop, Broadway, classical, and folk
