About The Position

The Chiller Rehanger is responsible for removing birds from a belt and transferring them to a moving shackle line, where they are placed on the shackle and hung by the hock. The procedure requires lifting a bird weighing up to 15 pounds and suspending it until it is properly hung on a shackle. The work is performed from an elevated, stationary platform in a hot, humid environment and involves repetitive use of both hands, arms, and wrists.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 15 pounds repetitively.
• Able to perform repetitive work using both hands, arms, and wrists.
• Able to stand, reach, lift, and pull downward.
• Able to work in a hot, humid environment.
