About The Position
Small Hands Big Dreams is seeking an experienced Child Care Teacher passionate about early childhood education and creating meaningful learning experiences for young children. The role involves leading a classroom and supporting children’s learning through exploration, creativity, nurturing relationships, and social-emotional support. Requirements
- Experience working with young children.
- Some coursework in early childhood education, education, or a related field.
- CPL 1, 2, or 3; wage is assigned based on documented years of experience and education or training in OCCRRA.
- Ability to work as a team and lend a helping hand.
- Support families through daily communication and engagement.
- Commitment to children throughout the year.
- Provide social and emotional support and foster healthy relationships.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the health and safety of children.
- Prepare and implement hands-on activities.
- Actively supervise children at all times.
- Communicate with families daily, including verbally and through pictures, videos, and messages.
- Build strong family relationships through goal setting and engagement in classroom activities.
- Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork.
- Be punctual.
- Enroll in and complete training through training platforms.
- Maintain appropriate interactions, dress, and communication.
- Create activity plans and keep paperwork up to date during time on the clock.
