About The Position

The Learning Village is hiring a Childcare Teacher for its young toddler classroom in Mars, Pennsylvania. The teacher will care for mobile toddlers and support their learning, growth, and exploration in a safe, nurturing, and positive environment. The role includes planning engaging activities, tracking developmental milestones, communicating with parents and staff, and taking part in classroom activities, songs, and projects.

The position offers schedules of either four days per week with 10-hour shifts or five days per week with 8-hour shifts. Teachers have evenings, weekends, and major holidays off. Candidates must meet applicable licensing requirements and undergo background screening and fingerprinting as part of hiring.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of childcare experience; babysitting experience counts.
• Friendly, playful demeanor and ability to lead activities.
• Strong communication skills with children, parents, and staff.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to receive training.
• Ability to meet licensing requirements, including clearances and health checks.
• Ability to complete background screening and fingerprinting as part of the hiring process.
