The DHS’ Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) is seeking candidates to fill the position of Child Support Services Agent 1, this position will report to the Child Support Services Supervisor. This position is location in Marietta, GA (Cobb County).

Requirements

High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of direct job-related experience.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, establishes and enforces child support obligations of responsible parents.
Coordinates child support activities with legal, judicial and public organizations.
Register child support applications, validate locations and establish paternity.
Establishes child support obligations and ensures that such obligations are met.
Communicate with clients and other constituents via telephone, email correspondence and direct contact to ensure that support obligations are met.
Manages a caseload to ensure that child support cases follow the Same Day Service Standard of Operating Procedure.
Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned.
