The DHS’ Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) is seeking candidates to fill the position of Child Support Agent 1, this position will report to a Child Support Agent Supervisor. This position is located in Waycross (Ware County), GA.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of direct job-related experience.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.
Responsibilities
- Registers child support applications, validates locations and establishes paternity.
- Coordinates child support activities with legal, judicial and public organizations.
- Establishes child support obligations and ensures that such obligations are met.
- Communicates with clients and other constituents via telephone, email correspondence and direct contact to ensure that support obligations are met.
- Manages a caseload to ensure that child support cases follow the Same Day Service Standard of Operating Procedure.
- Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned.
