About The Position

This position is responsible for serving attractive and nutritious meals to students in an efficient, clean, and friendly atmosphere. The role involves assisting in food preparation, serving students and staff, cleaning the dining area and kitchen, and maintaining sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrated aptitude for successful performance of the responsibilities listed below
• Capable of lifting heavy boxes, sweeping, and mopping
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift 10 pounds

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food portions and prepares cafeteria counter
• Serve students and staff from the cafeteria counter
• Remove used dishes and assists in the cleaning of dishes, counters, tables, and furnishings in the dining area and kitchen
• Maintain the trash and garbage collection area in a neat and sanitary fashion
• Perform related duties as required including duties at special meal functions
• Perform such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as requested by his/her supervisor(s)
