About The Position

Cook Children's Medical Center and Health Care System seeks a board certified/board eligible child neurologist to join our pediatric neurology clinic in Amarillo, Texas. The physician will be responsible for outpatient neurology care at the Amarillo location and other regional locations as needed. This physician will also provide inpatient consultations at two local hospitals providing pediatric care. Subspecialty clinics for epilepsy and movement disorders are provided monthly by staff from the main campus with telemedicine consultations available for subspecialty care as required. Call responsibilities will be shared by Cook Children’s physicians serving West Texas. Interested candidates will have faculty appointment and teaching opportunities with Texas Tech providing instruction for medical students and neurology residents.

Requirements

Board certified/board eligible child neurologist
Professional, social, and economic interests that lend themselves to a long-term, cultural fit within the institution, the medical staff, and the community.
Maintain primary residence within the state of Texas.
Maintain all licenses and credentials required for the position throughout employment.

Responsibilities
