About The Position

Inova Children’s is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board-Certified Child Neurologist to join our growing pediatric team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nationally recognized children’s health system and contribute to the continued expansion of comprehensive pediatric specialty care throughout Northern Virginia. This full-time position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Inova Children’s Neurology is seeking to add Child Neurologists to a growing team with expertise in fetal-neonatal neurology, epilepsy, neuromuscular, headache, concussion/ TBI, neuro-oncology, and hospital care. The Inova Children’s Neurology team collaborates in patient care with Neurosurgery, Neuropsychology, Neuroimaging, Neuro-oncology, Genetics, Psychiatry, Developmental Pediatrics, and Neuropathology.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
Board eligible or board certified in Child Neurology.
Completion of an ACGME Accredited Pediatric Neurology Residency Program
Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start
Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors
Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
