About The Position

This position is responsible for providing Child Care services for children in the child watch areas including personal care, hygiene, learning and development activities and specialized programs. The role involves preparing and maintaining records, ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of childcare property, and assisting with the set-up, oversight, and cleanup of children’s parties as scheduled. The Child Care Worker will build and maintain effective and positive relationships with parents to ensure an enriching and nurturing experience for their children. Responsibilities include developing and implementing age-appropriate hands-on activities, ensuring necessary supplies and materials are available and used safely, and providing opportunities for physical and mental stimulation through both indoor and outdoor activities. The role also includes preparing and serving children's snacks, ensuring they receive nutritional and tasteful food.

Requirements

Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Ability to observe children and ensure their safety.
High school diploma or G.E.D.
TWO (2) years’ experience teaching child development programs in a church or pre-school, OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
