About The Position

The Learning Experience of The Learning Experience #144 is hiring Lead Teachers to support the growth and development of children in a daycare and private preschool setting. The role leads a classroom and creates a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children. Teachers implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a way that meets each child’s individual needs, foster a love of learning, and work with families and center staff to support children and the center’s goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 12 ECE college credits required.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred.
Associate degree or higher in ECE or a related field preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor classroom co-teachers by modeling behaviors and providing feedback.
Manage the classroom and lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Model a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children in a way that meets each child’s unique needs.
Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
