About The Position

The Learning Experience of The Learning Experience #144 is hiring Lead Teachers to provide high-quality daycare and private preschool care. The role involves leading a classroom, supporting children’s growth and development, and fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Lead Teachers implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children, adapting to each child’s unique needs. They also communicate with families and collaborate with center staff and leadership to support center goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 12 ECE college credits required.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of professional teaching experience preferred.
Associate degree or higher in ECE or a related field preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
Manage the classroom and lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Serve as a role model, use a growth mindset, and inspire children’s love of learning.
Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children in a way that meets each child’s unique needs.
Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s activities and achievements, including through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support goals around enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and foster an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
