About The Position

The Learning Experience #144 is hiring a Lead Teacher to support the growth and development of young children in a daycare and private preschool setting. The role leads classroom activities for infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children, adapting the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to each child’s needs. The teacher creates a safe, nurturing, engaging environment where children can play and learn, and communicates with families about children’s achievements and activities. The position also supports center goals by partnering with staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement. The franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 12 ECE college credits required.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred.
Associate degree or higher in ECE or a related field preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
Manage the classroom and lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Serve as a role model, use a growth mindset, and inspire children’s love of learning.
Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children in a way that meets each child’s unique needs.
Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support goals around enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
