About The Position
CWCC is hiring caring, energetic Lead and Assistant Teachers to join its early childhood education team. The position involves creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for children from infancy through school age, planning hands-on learning experiences using Creative Curriculum, and supporting children's development and school readiness. Teachers observe and document children's progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD, communicate with families, collaborate with classroom staff, and maintain an organized classroom. Openings are available in Huber Heights, Kettering, Springfield, Beavercreek, Centerville, Miamisburg, Fairborn, and Englewood/Union. Full-time and part-time opportunities are offered.
Requirements
- Be energetic, supportive, and patient.

- Be dependable and professional.
- Meet Ohio child care licensing requirements, including background checks.
Nice To Haves
- CDA or an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working with young children.
- Knowledge of child development.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for children ages infant through school age.
- Plan and implement hands-on learning experiences using Creative Curriculum.
- Foster children's social, emotional, language, literacy, and school readiness skills.
- Observe children's development and document progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD.
- Partner with families through daily communication and parent conferences.
- Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers and classroom aides.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
