Child Care Teacher - Greater Dayton Area
About The Position
CWCC is hiring caring, energetic Lead and Assistant Teachers for its early childhood education team, with openings in Huber Heights, Kettering, Springfield, Beavercreek, Centerville, Miamisburg, Fairborn, and Englewood/Union. Teachers create safe, nurturing, and engaging classrooms for children from infancy through school age and plan hands-on learning experiences using Creative Curriculum. They support children's development and school readiness, document progress with Teaching Strategies GOLD, build relationships with families, collaborate with classroom staff, and maintain welcoming classrooms. The position is offered full-time and part-time, with pay of $13–$17 per hour.
Requirements
- Be energetic, supportive, and patient.

- Be dependable and professional.
- Meet Ohio child care licensing requirements, including background checks.
Nice To Haves
- CDA or an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working with young children.
- Knowledge of child development.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for children ages infant through school age.
- Plan and implement hands-on learning experiences using Creative Curriculum.
- Foster children's social, emotional, language, literacy, and school readiness skills.
- Observe children's development and document progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD.
- Partner with families through daily communication and parent conferences.
- Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers and classroom aides.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
