About The Position
CWCC is hiring caring, energetic Lead and Assistant Teachers for its early childhood education team in the Springfield area. Teachers create safe, nurturing, engaging classrooms for children from infancy through school age, plan hands-on learning experiences, support children's development and school readiness, and partner with families. The role includes mentoring and collaborating with classroom staff and maintaining a clean, organized, welcoming classroom. Requirements

- Meet Ohio child care licensing requirements, including background checks.
Nice To Haves
- CDA, associate degree in Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with young children.
- Knowledge of child development.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for children from infant through school age.
- Plan and implement hands-on learning experiences using Creative Curriculum.
- Foster children's social, emotional, language, literacy, and school readiness skills.
- Observe children's development and document progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD.
- Partner with families through daily communication and parent conferences.
- Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers and classroom aides.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
