About The Position
CWCC is hiring caring, energetic Lead and Assistant Teachers for its early childhood education team. Teachers create safe, nurturing, engaging classrooms for children from infancy through school age; plan hands-on learning experiences using Creative Curriculum; support children's social, emotional, language, literacy, and school-readiness development; observe and document progress with Teaching Strategies GOLD; build relationships with families through daily communication and parent conferences; collaborate with assistant teachers and classroom aides; and maintain clean, organized classrooms. Openings are listed in Huber Heights, Kettering, Springfield, Beavercreek, Centerville, Miamisburg, Fairborn, and Englewood/Union.
Requirements
- Be energetic, supportive, and patient.
- Have a passion for working with young children.
- Be dependable and professional.
- Meet Ohio child care licensing requirements, including background checks.
Nice To Haves
- CDA or an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working with young children.
- Knowledge of child development.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Responsibilities
