Child Care Teacher - Greater Dayton Area
About The Position
CWCC is hiring caring, energetic Lead and Assistant Teachers for its early childhood education team in the Greater Dayton Area. Teachers create safe, nurturing, and engaging classrooms for children from infancy through school age, plan hands-on learning experiences using Creative Curriculum, and support children’s development and school readiness. They observe and document children’s progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD, communicate with families, and collaborate with assistant teachers and classroom aides. The role includes maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. Openings are available in Huber Heights, Kettering, Springfield, Beavercreek, Centerville, Miamisburg, Fairborn, and Englewood/Union. Requirements
- Be energetic, supportive, and patient.

- Be dependable and professional.
- Meet Ohio child care licensing requirements, including background checks.
Nice To Haves
- CDA, associate degree in Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with young children.
- Knowledge of child development.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for children ages infant through school age.

- Foster children's social, emotional, language, literacy, and school readiness skills.
- Observe children's development and document progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD.
- Partner with families through daily communication and parent conferences.
- Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers and classroom aides.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
