Child Care Teacher - Springfield Area
About The Position
CWCC is hiring caring, energetic Lead and Assistant Teachers for its early childhood education team in the Springfield area. The role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for children from infancy through school age; planning hands-on learning experiences using Creative Curriculum; and supporting children's social, emotional, language, literacy, and school readiness skills. Teachers observe and document children's development using Teaching Strategies GOLD, communicate with families, and collaborate with assistant teachers and classroom aides. The position also involves maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
Requirements
- Be energetic, supportive, and patient.

- Be dependable and professional.
- Meet Ohio child care licensing requirements, including background checks.
Nice To Haves
- CDA or an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working with young children.
- Knowledge of child development.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for children ages infant through school age.
