About The Position
Kids Country Child Care & Learning Center is hiring for multiple teaching positions in our infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age classrooms. We are looking for individuals who love working with children and desire a fun, rewarding work environment. Opportunities are available for experienced Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and those currently working toward a degree in education.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have experience working in a licensed child care center or educational setting
- Meet Minnesota Rule 3 requirements for the applicable Lead Teacher or Assistant Teacher position
- Have completed qualifying college coursework in education or a related field, or be currently working toward a degree
- Be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified
- Demonstrate patience, dependability, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for working with children
Responsibilities
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Planning or assisting with activities such as art, science, music, movement, games, and outdoor play
- Supporting children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Assisting in classrooms and providing coverage for breaks, vacations, and absences
- Participating in field trips, campus events, and intergenerational activities
- Maintaining required classroom records and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements
- Supervising and supporting classroom staff, when applicable
