About The Position
Join a HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as a Substitute Teacher. The centers focus on developing children from infancy to preschool through joyful, engaging early education and daycare. The role involves creating a safe, organized, and supportive environment where children can learn, play, and grow. Must be available to work until 6:30 PM on scheduled days. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- PDIS Level 2 or higher.
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
- Availability to work until 6:30 PM on scheduled days.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms where children can explore and learn.
- Monitor children's growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
