About The Position

The Child Care Substitute Teacher supports an early childhood academic childcare center serving children from infancy through preschool. The role helps make early education joyful, engaging, and fun through developmentally appropriate learning activities and a safe, supportive classroom environment. The position requires availability to work until 6:30 PM on scheduled days. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PDIS Level 2 or higher.
• At least 18 years of age.
• At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
• Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
• Availability to work until 6:30 PM on scheduled days.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to create fun learning experiences.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms where children can explore and learn.
• Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
• Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
