About The Position
Join a HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as a Substitute Teacher. The centers focus on developing children from infancy through preschool, making early education and daycare joyful, engaging, and fun so children can learn, play, and grow. The role requires availability to work until 6:30 PM on scheduled days. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- PDIS Level 2 or higher.
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
- Availability to work until 6:30 PM on scheduled days.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms where children can explore and learn.
- Monitor children's growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
