About The Position
BrightPath Kids is hiring a full-time Child Care Lead Float Teacher in Twinsburg, Ohio. The role works alongside teachers and families to provide a home-away-from-home experience for children in care, supporting their safety, development, learning, and communication with their families. The posting describes responsibilities for a Lead Teacher working in one assigned classroom with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
Requirements
- Associate degree or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized.
- Ability to work within regular operating hours.
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of experience in a licensed child care facility is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in one assigned classroom.
- Create developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
- Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and allows children to grow and explore.
- Partner with families to create plans that provide the best care and education for their children.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
