About The Position

BrightPath Kids, formerly Young Explorers and part of the BrightPath Kids and Busy Bees global childcare community, is hiring a full-time Child Care Lead Float Teacher in Twinsburg, Ohio. The role works side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in care, supporting their safety, learning, and development. The position pays $16–$20 per hour and does not require evening or weekend work.

Requirements

• Associate degree or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience in a licensed child care facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in an assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Develop programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment that allows children to grow and explore.
• Partner with families to create plans that provide appropriate care and education for their children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
