About The Position
La Petite Academy is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help provide daily care and learning experiences for children. The role involves following licensing guidelines and company standards, maintaining a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and engaging with children. The assistant teacher will develop skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating effectively with families. Extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics is provided. Candidates should be energetic and dependable, have a passion for working with children, meet applicable state or accreditation requirements for education and experience, and be able to work indoors or outdoors and participate in physical activity with children. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience. Assistant Teacher pay is listed as $19.43–$20.19. Bi-weekly and daily pay options are available. Limited medical coverage is offered to part-time workers. The work week is Monday through Friday.
