About The Position
La Petite Academy of Suamico is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help create a safe, engaging, and organized classroom where children can learn and grow. The role includes providing daily care in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards, supporting children’s development through observation and planning, communicating with families, and completing training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The position involves working indoors or outdoors and participating in physical activities with children.
Requirements
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
- Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
- Develop the ability to observe and assess children accurately and plan for them.
- Communicate effectively with families.
- Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
