About The Position
La Petite Academy of James Island is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help provide daily care and learning experiences for children. The role involves following licensing guidelines and company standards, maintaining a clean, organized, fun, and interactive classroom, and developing skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating with families. The teacher will complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
Requirements
- Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
