About The Position

The Child Care Attendant supports VASA Fitness's KidCare program by providing safe, attentive, and engaging care for children while their parents exercise. The role helps create a clean, welcoming environment where families feel confident leaving their children. The attendant uses meaningful interactions and age-appropriate activities, follows safety practices and check-in/check-out procedures, and contributes to a positive team culture.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, engaging, and dependable presence.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized KidCare space.
• Adaptability and calmness in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating positive experiences for children and families.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children in childcare, education, youth programs, or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, fun, attentive care for children while their parents work out.
• Create a clean, engaging, and welcoming KidCare environment.
• Follow check-in and check-out procedures to ensure child safety.
• Engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain compliance with required background checks, safety scans, and childcare standards.
• Support a positive team culture through teamwork, reliability, and communication.
• Help families feel confident, supported, and welcome to return.
