About The Position
BrightPath Kids is seeking a full-time Child Care Assistant Teacher in Delhi. The Assistant Teacher works alongside teachers and families to provide children with a home-away-from-home experience in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. The role supports children ages 6 weeks through 12 years and contributes to a warm, safe, clean environment where children can grow and explore. Regular hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no evenings or weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized.
- Ability to work within regular operating hours.
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
- Assist teachers with classroom instruction.
- Decorate classrooms inside and outside as needed.
- Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment that enables children to grow and explore.
- Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
