Vista Counseling & Wellness Center•Bend, OR
•$78,374 - $109,200•Onsite

About The Position

Vista Counseling is hiring a Child and Family Therapist to support children, teens, and their families in its Bend and Central Oregon office. The work includes helping young clients and families navigate anxiety, school stress, behavioral challenges, and major life changes. The intake team matches therapists with clients according to the ages and concerns they work best with; after-school availability is especially helpful. Therapists set their own caseload goal and hours, with a minimum of 18 client sessions per week and goals ranging from 18 to 30 sessions per week. Compensation is paid per session and scales with the chosen goal. For a 24-client-per-week caseload, stated annual compensation is approximately $78,374 for associates/pre-licensed therapists with a master's degree, $87,360–$97,344 for licensed master's-level therapists, and $99,216–$109,200 for psychologists. Annual pay estimates are calculated over 52 weeks and include paid sick leave/PTO. A Boost Program guarantees pay at the therapist's caseload goal for the first three months, worth up to $19,600–$24,300 for master's-level clinicians or $24,800–$27,300 for psychologists. Vista Counseling has been locally owned since 2002 and offers W-2 employment. The organization describes its commitment to addressing implicit bias and racism, supporting communities of color and people from diverse backgrounds, approaching the work with humility, pursuing lifelong learning, remaining open to feedback, and taking meaningful action. Vista is an equal opportunity employer.
