About The Position
The Mental Health Professional is an exciting clinical opportunity responsible for counseling and case management service. In this role, you will maintain a patient caseload, providing intervention within established treatment guidelines, policies and procedures. The position offers you the ability to actively advocate on behalf of your patients. Greater Lakes Mental Health is part of MultiCare’s Behavioral Health Network, serving more than 10,000 individuals across Pierce County each year. Providing mental health and substance use disorder treatment for adults, children and families with Medicaid coverage, Greater Lakes operates six convenient locations, including a 16-bed inpatient facility for voluntary and involuntary care. With experienced teams and robust training, caregivers help deliver recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care.
Requirements
- Masters degree in a related field
- A Mental Health Professional as defined within HB 1724 one of these higher credentials are held: Counselor Agency Affiliated Licensed, Marriage & Family Therap Assoc (LMFTA), Mental Health Counselor Assoc (LMHCA), SW Associate Advanced License (LSWAA), SW Advanced Lic (LASW), SW Assoc Independent Clinical Lic (LSWAIC)
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience providing mental health counseling services preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered counseling, advocacy and case management for patients
- Develop treatment plans which clearly identify the patient’s voice, treatment strategies, and specific outcome measures
- Meet agency documentation standards and authorization requirements of contracts
- Strategically tailor effective clinical/case management services to meeting diverse patient needs
- Contribute to the success of MultiCare expectations and core values, continuously learning, and performing other duties as needed or assigned
