About The Position

AWARE is hiring a full-time Child and Family Support Specialist in Helena, Montana. The role provides support to identified children and families, helping them access community services and supporting personal growth and participation in their community. The specialist works with AWARE clinical professionals, clients, and families to deliver services guided by prescribed curriculum lesson plans and treatment plans. The position pays $21.00–$26.07 per hour to start.

Requirements

Thorough understanding of human services, resources, and tools.
Ability to assess clients and families from a strengths-model perspective and develop a theoretical perspective.
Ability to work with a variety of people.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

A BS/BA degree in a human-services-related field is preferred; equivalency may be based on documented work history, education, and volunteer experience.

Responsibilities

Work closely with AWARE’s clinical professionals to provide services assigned and developed through prescribed curriculum lesson plans.
Spend time with clients and families as assigned or identified in the treatment plan.
Assess clients, families, and environments using assessment tools.
Coordinate and conduct the team process to develop a comprehensive Individualized Treatment Plan.
Help identified children and families gain access to medical, social, educational, vocational, and recreational services.
