Part-Time Child & Adolescent Outpatient Therapist

Verge Therapy LLC•Woburn, MA
•$54 - $69

About The Position

Verge Therapy is hiring a part-time Child & Adolescent Therapist to provide outpatient care. The role requires approximately 48 billable hours per month (about 12 per week), measured monthly. Because many clients are school-aged, afternoon and evening availability is needed; weekend availability is a plus. Clinicians build their schedule after establishing a caseload, and many combine in-office and telehealth work. The therapist provides individual therapy to children and adolescents with family involvement, conducts assessments and develops treatment plans, delivers evidence-based and trauma-informed care, responds to crises, collaborates with schools and pediatricians, and completes documentation during paid time. Compensation is $54–$59 per hour for pre-licensed clinicians and $64–$69 per hour for independently licensed clinicians, paid biweekly regardless of insurance payout. The role includes 0.2 paid administrative hours per clinical hour, paid late cancellations and no-shows at the clinician’s rate, 40 hours of sick time at the hourly rate, fully covered malpractice insurance, free supervision and risk consultation, paid orientation, and a billable-hours bonus. The company handles billing, credentialing, referrals, scheduling, marketing, the EHR, office space, and supplies. Verge describes a rate progression upon independent licensure and potential future opportunities in supervision, clinical leadership, and specialization as the organization grows.
