Requirements
- Two years of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy.
- Possession of a license to practice pharmacy as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.
- Meet the PA residency requirement.
- Able to perform essential job functions.
- Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise pharmacy services in alignment with hospital policies
- Maintain and update pharmacy computer systems and electronic records
- Handle financial reviews, cost accounting, and pharmaceutical procurement
- Develop and maintain criteria-based programs that monitor service quality
- Coordinate educational programs for pharmacy and hospital personnel
- Ensure proper oversight of controlled substances under all regulations
