The Chief of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) will provide academic and clinical leadership for the division, driving strategic direction, operational oversight, and faculty development. This role involves leading recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, retention, and performance evaluation of physician faculty and advanced practice providers. The Chief will develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology's mission, vision, and values, and collaborate with the Chair to ensure the division's financial stability through effective resource allocation and fiscal stewardship. Additionally, the Chief will provide leadership and guidance to faculty in educational roles, cultivate an outstanding learning environment for medical students, residents, and fellows, and promote faculty development in academic advancement, teaching excellence, leadership, and professional growth. The integration of innovative educational strategies and curricular advancements will also be encouraged and facilitated.
