About The Position

As a Chief of Staff on our Corporate Functions team, you'll become the heart of our organization by developing strategies, refining processes, and implementing initiatives that empower our business to thrive. Reporting to the President of Infineon Americas, the Senior Director, Chief of Staff (CoS) is a highly strategic and execution-focused role responsible for driving key regional priorities and enhancing leadership effectiveness across the Americas Leadership Board (ALB). The CoS partners closely with the President and senior leadership to shape and execute regional strategy, lead high-impact cross-functional initiatives, and ensure operational excellence across the Americas. This role offers significant visibility and influence, playing a critical part in driving alignment, focus, and measurable progress against Infineon’s strategic priorities in the region. This is a unique opportunity for a high-performing leader to operate at the center of the business, influencing strategic direction, accelerating decision-making, and delivering tangible outcomes in a complex, fast-paced environment. The CoS brings a strong bias for action, turning ambiguity into clear plans, structured priorities, and measurable results, and driving execution with speed, rigor, and sound judgment. As a trusted advisor to the Regional President and senior regional leadership, the CoS provides thought leadership on topics of strategic importance, helping to shape priorities, inform decisions, and drive alignment across the organization.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in strategy, operations, consulting, or corporate development

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, or executive-level program leadership strongly preferred
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the definition and execution of our regional strategy as assigned by the president. This may include co-developing long-term regional strategic plans, competitive and ecosystem analysis, identifying growth opportunities across markets and existing segments, and strategically engaging with local ecosystem partners.
  • Lead high-priority regional strategic and operational initiatives end-to-end. Structure projects, align stakeholders, drive execution, and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Support the president as needed in his additional role as “Country Research Office” (CRO). Assist the president in facilitating effective decision-making and be a thought sparring partner for the CRO round table with the regions R&D leaders.
  • Support the president and regional leadership team in planning, coordinating and delivering on key events like the monthly strategy reviews, management reviews and bi-annual leadership offsites. Participate in regular executive staff meetings. Drive alignment, collaboration and visibility across the executive team.
  • Functionally manage some of the team in the office of the president. Legally manage several individuals currently reporting into the president. Develop functional team capabilities in relevant areas.
  • Partner closely with other functions relevant to the team (regionally and globally), seeking to understand issues, trends and perspectives that may require regional actions and outcomes.
  • Manage the priorities and projects dashboard to ensure we achieve our goals. Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities to improve outcomes
