Onsite

About The Position

Lynd Clinical is establishing a fully owned and operated clinical research network designed for rural American communities. They collaborate with leading U.S. health systems and regional providers to integrate clinical trials into existing patient care settings. Their approach combines owned site infrastructure with a proprietary AI platform that analyzes medical records to efficiently identify, screen, and enroll high-quality participants, leading to faster enrollment and improved trial outcomes for sponsors and participants. The company is seeking a multi-functional Chief of Staff to act as a strategic partner and extension of the CEO. This role demands high trust and accountability, suitable for individuals who excel at the intersection of strategy and execution. It offers an exciting opportunity for a self-starter with a strong analytical background to engage with private equity's adoption of AI-led operational transformation.

Requirements

  • Strategic thinker, strong executor: self-starter capable of moving seamlessly from high-level strategy to detailed execution
  • Analytical rigor: comfortable building models, evaluating tradeoffs, and supporting decisions with data
  • Exceptional communicator: clear, concise, and effective across formats and audiences
  • Prioritization & judgment: strong ability to identify what matters most in ambiguous situations, and execute a work plan accordingly
  • Highly collaborative: strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead through influence rather than authority
  • Experience: 3-5 years in management consulting, investment banking, equity research, financial due diligence or other similar roles, with experience in healthcare, ideally within pharma services or clinical research

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the CEO to accelerate sponsor engagement, network growth, product development, and financial workstreams
  • Maintain full context of what's in flight across the business: key initiatives, hires, site relationship launches, ensuring that critical work streams are progressed ahead of budgeted schedule
  • Rapidly assess competing priorities, identify what matters most, and drive alignment of operational timelines and expected outcomes
  • Distill complex, cross-functional inputs into crisp and thoroughly justified recommendations and next actions for the Board of Directors, Executive leadership, and high-stakes external partner conversations
  • Build decision frameworks and multi-layered financial models to evaluate de novo opportunities, partnerships, and strategic initiatives, and lead negotiation of critical partnership agreements alongside financial sponsor partners (e.g., scenario analysis, ROI, sensitivity, lease and partnership agreement terms)
  • Create high-quality materials in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, including executive narratives, dashboards, and stakeholder-ready updates
