About The Position

Oversee and provide executive leadership to the nursing organization. Responsible for the development of the overall strategic nursing plan. Collaborate with leadership and staff to identify and develop new patient care programs, policies, procedures, and practice standards for the nursing departments. Develop and implement a program to measure, assess, and improve the quality of nursing care provided by the organization. Evaluate the function and structure of assigned areas to best determine the allocation and utilization of services and budgets appropriately according to strategic goals. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to nursing services and healthcare.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
  • Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Master's degree required.
  • 5 years of experience required.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
  • Previous CNO experience at a 200+ license bed facility
