About The Position

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across both new and pre-owned departments for Ed Voyles CDJR. This role involves planning and managing marketing initiatives, aligning them with business goals, inventory, sales objectives, and growth strategies. The CMO will also identify opportunities for lead generation, market expansion, brand awareness, and customer retention. Key responsibilities include managing vendor and agency relationships, overseeing website strategy and digital presence, directing advertising and lead generation efforts, implementing CRM and retention programs, leading content creation and creative direction, managing social media and online reputation, developing community relations and sponsorships, supporting fleet and commercial marketing, and conducting in-depth performance analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Develop and execute marketing strategy across Ed Voyles CDJR new and pre-owned departments.
  • Plan and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing initiatives.
  • Align marketing efforts with goals, inventory levels, sales objectives, and business growth initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for lead generation, market expansion, brand awareness, and customer retention.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all marketing vendors and partners.
  • Manage relationships, strategy calls, reporting, troubleshooting, project implementation, and performance reviews with various vendors and partners (e.g., DealerOn, Stream, WeDrive, LotLinx, Work Truck Solutions, Advertising Partners, Promotional Vendors, Sponsorship Partners).
  • Coordinate vendor projects, deadlines, budgets, approvals, and accountability.
  • Oversee all website strategy, content, promotions, updates, and customer experience improvements.
  • Manage website launches, redesigns, SEO implementation, and conversion optimization.
  • Coordinate inventory merchandising strategy and landing page development.
  • Troubleshoot website issues and oversee implementation with website providers.
  • Oversee SEM, SEO, paid search, social advertising, retargeting, display advertising, and lead generation efforts.
  • Monitor campaign performance, ROI, budgets, and monthly reporting.
  • Analyze competitor activity and market trends.
  • Implement CRM marketing initiatives through DriveCentric.
  • Develop customer email campaigns, lead nurture campaigns, service retention campaigns, and follow-up strategies.
  • Support AI implementation and customer communication processes.
  • Review lead performance and customer engagement opportunities.
  • Write and develop sales campaigns, service campaigns, email campaigns, website content, SEO content, social media content, promotional messaging, and video concepts and scripts.
  • Direct creative assets, signage, advertising materials, and promotional campaigns.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all companies.
  • Manage content strategy across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profiles.
  • Coordinate content creation, photography, video production, and community engagement.
  • Monitor online reputation and customer feedback.
  • Develop and manage community partnerships, sponsorships, and outreach programs.
  • Lead planning, promotion, logistics, and execution for events like JeepFest, Teacher of the Year Programs, Fleet Event - Touch a Truck, and Customer Events/Community Activations.
  • Coordinate vendors, signage, marketing materials, budgets, and promotional efforts for community events.
  • Support fleet and commercial vehicle marketing initiatives in the monthly newsletter.
  • Coordinate Work Truck Solutions marketing efforts.
  • Promote TG316 Custom Builds and specialty inventory.
  • Review and analyze website traffic, lead generation, advertising performance, SEO performance, CRM performance, and campaign ROI.
  • Provide recommendations and strategic insights to leadership.
