About The Position

Just Ingredients, a health and wellness e-commerce company, is seeking a visionary, performance-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead its marketing organization. This executive leadership role reports directly to the CEO and offers a unique opportunity to define and scale the marketing strategy for a high-growth, purpose-driven brand in the health, wellness, supplements, and beauty sectors. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in brand, digital, social, paid media, partnership marketing, and retail/wholesale channel development, with a proven history of building loyal communities and driving revenue growth in the direct-to-consumer (DTC) and consumer packaged goods (CPG) space. This role requires strong alignment with the CEO's vision and a shared belief in the brand's mission. The CMO will be a strategic, data-informed leader capable of executing at a high level, understanding the modern health and wellness consumer, and scaling the brand efficiently across all channels.

  • A track record of thriving in a high-trust, high-alignment working relationship with a founder or CEO.
  • Experience supporting or collaborating on thought leadership content, podcasts, educational programming, or founder-led brand storytelling in the health, wellness, or lifestyle space.
  • Proven experience in the health and wellness, supplement, beauty, or CPG/DTC industry — with a deep understanding of the clean-label consumer and the competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale a full-stack marketing organization across brand, digital, social, paid media, partnerships, and retail and wholesale channel marketing.
  • Direct experience leading retail and wholesale marketing initiatives, including trade marketing, retail media, account-specific programming, and omnichannel go-to-market strategy.

  • Track record of building and activating meaningful sports, brand, and channel partnerships that deliver measurable growth.
  • Experience leading event marketing strategy, from large-scale expos to branded consumer activations.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills — ability to attract strong talent, develop it, and build cultures of accountability and creativity.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence at the board and CEO level and inspire at the team level.
  • Data-driven decision-maker who balances analytical rigor with creative instinct and brand intuition.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required.
