Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in marketing, communications, ministry, business, technology, or a related field.
  • Ten or more years of senior leadership experience in media, marketing, content, technology, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success translating vision into scalable systems and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience operating within or leading matrixed organizational structures preferred.
  • Exceptional executive presence with strong emotional intelligence & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adept at managing multiple complex priorities in a fast-pact, high-impact environment.
  • Heart for Christian ministry

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead enterprise strategy for maximizing external mission impact across all brands and platforms
  • Translate mission vision into aligned content, platform, and audience growth strategies
  • Establish clear outcome metrics tied to reach, engagement, and spiritual formation
  • Identify and pursue scalable growth opportunities across audio, video, live events, publishing, and technology
  • Partner with the CEO on long-range expansion priorities and investment decisions
  • Establish enterprise-level alignment across Content, Technology, and Marketing while preserving functional authority within each discipline
  • Ensure these disciplines operate as an integrated system rather than siloed departments
  • Own the design and stewardship of the end-to-end audience experience
  • Ensure content strategy advances mission formation objectives, not merely promotional priorities
  • Establish and steward brand and communication standards across all platforms and properties
  • Partner with the Chief of Donor Engagement to align donor-facing communications with enterprise brand strategy, ensuring a unified voice while enabling agile, relationship-driven execution
  • Leverage research and performance data to inform strategic decisions and resource allocation
  • Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team
  • Provide direct executive oversight to senior leaders within Content, Technology, and Marketing
  • Strengthen centralized functional disciplines while preserving distinct brand expression
  • Oversee budgets and steward resources to align investment with mission priorities
  • Represent Hope Media Group with board members, partners, donors, and external stakeholders as a senior ministry leader
