Purchaser Business Group on Health (PBGH) is an action-oriented non-profit with a track record of improving health outcomes, experience and affordability for consumers and purchasers across the United States. PBGH and its members are on the forefront of implementing innovations in the health care system through purchaser-led solutions. PBGH partners across stakeholders to continuously identify, create and put into practice new strategies to support the health and overall wellbeing of employees, their families and the public. Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Impact Officer (CIO) is responsible for setting and executing PBGH’s growth, partnership, and impact strategy through innovative solutions tailored to large/jumbo employers. This role focuses on business architecture, market positioning, strategic partnerships, and revenue generation to expand PBGH’s reach and influence. The CIO provides strategic oversight of PBGH’s advisory services and member value functions by defining business models, partnership strategies, pricing approaches, and go-to-market direction that is scalable and sustainable. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CIO works closely with the Board and senior leaders to align strategy, policy context, and market dynamics with PBGH’s priorities.
